I promised you news of our latest exciting projects and here is the next installment. In association with IMMERSIVE (Pixel Addicts) we have transformed the cover of renouned drums and bass producer and artist Sub Focus's debut album cover into a video lighting installation. Built by Extra Dimensional Space Agency, Saucereyes and Chase Entertainments for Sub Focus at our factory here in the UK, this 3 meter wide hexmod installation took just 5 manic days to complete from parts to working. It was a big disappointment not to be able to perform at Acidmonkey easter edition due to the last minute change of venue. We hope that we will be able to bring the new mapping and screen at an event in the near future.
We weren't sure we were going to make it to Acidmonkey this time either but we both had an amazing time mixing visuals in the 'fountain' room. Acidmonkey never fails to be a cracking event with top notch and totally acidic music all night. Special thanks to Global Village for their luuuuverly deco in the prog room and elsewhere, Richie and crew of Extra Dimensional Space Agency, and big thanks to Marlon and the rest of the crew for putting on one of the finest underground trance parties we have seen for many years. We are definately looking forward to the next one.
Sadly due to circumstances beyond our control we will not be at the Glade Festival with Liquid Faeries this year. During the previous three years at Glade we worked to a ridiculously tight schedule and an impossible budget. This year we are unable to match the time and budgetary constraints required. We wish all the best to the new team and hope that they have a fantastic festival.
After taking a break in the new year we have undergone a massive relocation, making our various collaborative projects much easier. More news on some of these projects in the near future.
This weekend we will be working once again with ExtraDimensionalSpaceAgency at this easter's ACIDMONKEY providing cunningly mapped mind-bending visuals. We just about have the mapping for the screens completed, and looking forward to getting it all working in good time tomorrow ;-). See you there!
Well we worked really hard right up until the last to bring our magic to Acidmonkey on 28th Nov but in the end we were defeated by the lurgy. Apologies to the Acidmonkey team and everyone who went, we hear that you all had a good time ;-).
